Servers

Almost all of our services are hosted on our dedicated server, colocated in the EvoSwitch datacenter. This server is a Dell Poweredge R210, ordered in June 2010. We upgraded the server with 12 TB of storage backed by a 120 GB SSD cache in October 2014. Our server now has the following specifications:

  • CPU: Intel Xeon X3430 (2,4Ghz Nehalem based)
  • Motherboard: Dell
  • Memory: 4x 2GB DDR3 ECC RAM
  • O/S: SmartOS hypervisor with Ubuntu, SmartOS, and Windows guests
  • Harddisks: 2x 6 TB WD Green + 120 GB SSD (combined into a 12 TB ZFS zone)
